I just realised, my last post was number 100!
So as I am in the mindset to post out some prizes - all owed prizes are just awaiting their stamps and then they will be whisking their way to some VERY patient bloggers! I have a brand new product that I will be showcasing on tomorrow's blog - all I'll say is it's a kit, it is a revamp of one of our most popular products, and all who have seen the new version love it - so I am going to give 3 away to anyone who leaves a comment before this weekend. Just a little way of saying thank you to all the wonderful people I have had the pleasure to "meet" in blogland.
Today I finally released my "baby" to the next stage of it's growth - my quilt has gone to the quilter (BusyBee Quilting). I have done all I can for now, I just have to wait until I get the call before I can race over and collect my new pride and joy. It's actually a little harrowing to totally disect the quilt and try and choose quilting styles and thread colours - but Wendy did a great job on my last quilt, so I'm very much guided by her talents. I am proud to say that I have finally selected a name ... anyone who has had to talk to me over the past few weeks has had to deal with my naming dilema (luckily much to their amusement) and I am grateful for all the thoughts that have been put into it. However one thing kept being repeated everytime I had to explain what the latest name idea meant (I think if you have to keep explaining a play on words then it wasn't meant to be). I was driving back from delivering the quilt when it finally hit me.
MADE WITH LOVE
Because at the end of the day, it was made with love (loads of it actually), it's about love, flowers are given as a symbol of love and affection - plus it rolls off the tongue easier than anything else I could think of. I checked with "she who knows the name of about every quilt ever designed" and it got a big tick ... so here is another peak, a little more this time, of MADE WITH LOVE
This isn't even half of it! I have asked a few ladies opinion (because I think they know a little more about Block Of The Months than I do) and I was pleased to hear that not only do they love the warmth of the colours and the design, but also that it would make a great first quilt for anyone who has only tried small projects - yet an experienced quiltmaker would also enjoy it - exactly what I planned nearly 4 years ago!!!!!! I don't have the exact measurements on me, but I've been told it will make a large single bed quilt, with drapping all around and long enough to fold a pillow into it, or a decent size Queen bed topper - apparently a great value for money size quilt if you are committing to make it over 9 months. So tomorrow I'll take some snaps of the new product I'm giving away, and promise to post a picture ... so leave a comment and be in the draw - I'll get my trusted assistant (Jessica) to select 3 numbers at random (so you can leave more than one comment if you like!!!!) and we'll check to see who the winners are on the weekend. Thanks for all the fun I've had in blogland these past 100 posts, and for allowing me to blab on .... fortunately that's what many of you say you enjoy about my blog, so I thank you .... Have a great day, Janet xxx

Congrats on your long awaited quilt. It does look divine. The name is so appropriate. Sometimes a name just comes to us, other times we dilly dally. Oh well you probably have a list of names for your next quilt!!!

I like the way you have successfully combined green and red without "Christmas" screaming at you. Well done, great job.
