Just my luck. I wanted to get back to my dear blog friends, and low and behold we discover that the dreaded lurgy has not only attacked our family, but also our computer.
So in half an hour "Bessy" (couldn't think of another name on the spur of the moment) is off to the IT Doctor to see what is going on inside, hopefully a miracle drug (or gadget) will return her to us in a few days, good as new.
Same can't be said for the human's at Wildcraft Farm. Seems the dreaded flu has decended upon us, Jessica worst of all. Apparently there are now so many people with Swine Flu in Victoria that they are no longer testing, just treating everyone the same. As her roaring temperature has now calmed down we haven't been given TamiFlu, but can I just alert any of you who may have a sickie at home, get to the Doctors before the fever goes away - aparently TamiFlu won't actually cure you, but it will stop the bugs multiplying in your body (or that was how my fluey head understood the Doctor this morning).
I also just wanted to take the opportunity to say a quickie "Hi There" to all the new visitors who are dropping by after seeing the amazing article/project/photo spread in the newest issue of Australian Country Threads .......... wow!!!!!!
So many have left email messages and I'm trying to get back to you quickly, but seems that bug in Bessy is jamming up a bit, I'm hopeful that her rest away from my busy in-box will see her return with a lovely batch of emails that I haven't been able to download. So apologies if you have emailed and I haven't got back to you ... I'm hoping she's back here Thursday.
Okay, Farmer Rowe is now pacing behind me, wanting to pull the plug on Bessy, so I'll say my goodnights, and hope that we are all much better next time we chat (that includes YOU Bessy!!!!!!!).
Big hugs, but NO snotty kisses! Janet xxx
