Do you hear that thumping noise, listen .... I'm sure you can! What you can possibly hear is the thumping sound made as my head is repeatadly making contact with the desk and I am constantly flumuxed with technology, and how it is trying to sabotage all that I do.
Long time Wildcraft Farm blog readers would know that our telecommunications supplier (Telstra) just doesn't love us, at all. Just when we start to think the love is coming our way, no ... we get slapped in the face again.
So why am I rather "peeved" today? Well I had planned on slowly releasing 7 (yes people, SEVEN) new designs in the revamped/reshaped/re-yummied KIT IN THE CARD COLLECTION, but somehow I can't keep the internet going on long enough to set it all up, so below is what I would like to showcase for your tastebuds today ....
Drum roll please ..... tatatatatatatatatatatatat!
The Kit In A Card Collection was originally born way way back in the year 2000. I wanted a unique product that was definitely within everyone's budget, and would cover all tastes. Plus I wanted you to be able to grab something and stitch, IMMEDIATELY, if that was what you wanted.
They became very popular with tourists and those travelling. At their peak of production there were over 60 designs and many ladies made it their mission to collect them all. The idea that you could make a purchase for much less than the price of a basic card and a bunch of flowers to give to a dear friend for a birthday card or special occasion, was a hit. But then it became apparent that ladies loved the stitcheries as an economical little project. Some stores had wish lists for husbands who were "sent" in to purchase their greeting cards for wives (so they got exactly what they wanted). But times change and so do styles .... so a revamp was in order.
So I will now go and see if I need a bandaid for my head, and once again make a valiant attempt to upload these photos.
Hope to talk to you soon, hugs of stitching love ... JANET x
(PS: I thought there would have been a photo with this post, don't think it has, but if by some miraculousness it is here .... WOW!)
Hi Janet,
I hope you give that Telstra a kick up the backside as I am dying to see your new designs. I love those little projects and would love to get hold of some new ones. They are so quick and easy to make as gifts for friends. I shall just have to keep popping back to see if they are on here.
