oh Janet how to pick from these two beautiful patterns I love the stork scissors my brother gave me 17 years ago so I will say the scissor pattern somewhere safe and sound to store them

I think whoever invented the rotary cutter and creative grid rulers should be kissed! I use to do quilting when tracing templates and cutting with scissors was in vogue...
I think your kits in a card are so sweet...I esp like the scissor keep one.
Glad you are on the mend, but don't over do dear.

poor you, try just to get some sleep. It's important you know. I had to think about you're question, I think for now my favorite tool...my sewing machine, I just love it (somethimes kiss it) We had it for two years now and still learn new things about her. other favorite item is a scissor white and blue who does everything I need, it's a super scissor...
Wish you get better soon, fingers crossed

Love your little kit/cards. My favorite tool is also a seam ripper, it must be I use it often....

as an oldish sewer, i have to agree with sandi: a seam ripper is my sewing bff. what i love most is he sticks to my pin magnet (also essential) and helps with my crooked stitches.

Love your designs...I think the pincushion is awesome!
my fav tools are also my gold stork scissors and my light box that hubby made me about 8 years ago...
cheers

As a newish quilter the seam ripper is my favorite tool, or, at least the one I use the most. LOL I love your little kit/cards.

I love embroidery - sitting and stitching is just so relaxing - and there are so many wonderful patterns to choose from. My favourite tool is the light box I bought some years back at a quilt show - it makes transferring lovely designs to cloth a breeze.

Kit In A Cards

  • KIAC SewingMachine s
WHAT IS A KIT IN A CARD? The basic nuts and bolts of it is a greeting card that has a colour image on the front (of the actual sewn project), currently focusing on the "stitchery" series. Inside the card is a kit with EVERYTHING needed to complete the finished stitchery design shown on the card. Screenprinted quality fabric, plenty of DMC thread to complete the finished project, iron on pellon and a Size 8 embroidery needle. With the card, kit and envelope all packaged in a cellophane bag, this unique and original product is the perfect gift for someone special (even if its you!).
